The once audio recorder restricts the user from re-recording, or from listening to their answer. There is only one button, to start/stop the recording. And the audio file is submitted when the stop button is pressed or when the time limit is reached.
It is unlikely (though possible) that you want to set this as the default audio recorder for the site, or course. But you can set it at the quiz level and it will be the audio recorder for that quiz.
To do this:
- Visit your quiz top page. And from the settings menu choose "Filters"
- From the filters menu, beside Poodll filter entry, choose "Settings"
- Near the bottom of the page choose "Once" as the HTML5 audio recorder skin
