Some MiniLesson item types use "sentences" as the basis of the activity. These support adding an image or a custom audio file (in place of TTS - text to speech) per sentence. You can see an example here:

The item types that support sentence audio and sentence images are:
- Dictation (audio only)
- Listen and Speak
- Listening Gapfill
- Typing Gapfill (image only)
- Speaking Gapfill
- Fluency
- Speech Cards (audio only)
To add sentence images, upload image files into the Sentence Images file manager area. The filename of each of the image files you upload must be the sentence number, eg 2.jpg, 3.png. The file extension can be any image file type that Moodle supports.
To add sentence audio , upload audio files into the Sentence Audios file manager area. The filename of each of the audio files you upload must be the sentence number. eg 1.mp3, 7.mp3. The file extension can be that of any audio file type that Moodle supports. But MP3 is best.
